A bit of a personal post on my end. This was a few years in the making but had to postponed several times due to the passing of my mom during Covid and obviously the continuation of Covid until we are safe to travel. And also why I made this trip back to the home country for the first time in 20 years.
This was taken at Central Highlands of Vietnam in Da Lat early morning. The fog and mists was just like home.
The heavy, wet freak snow event of 4/11/22 was our most recent major branch culling. Although the arctic east winds in mid January did a number as well.
@TigerWoodsLibido Those are some impressive looking icicles! I got some freezing rain on the night of January 16th, but it wasn't too crazy. It just left a light glaze of ice over everything. I was sad it didn't snow instead.
The following day started out with cold rain which mixed with, and gradually changed to wet snow. It was really a moment of redemption! My favorite weather story of the year so far.

SEA was colder than normal for 15 out of 16 days (with a measly +1 day in there) from late April through the first 9 days of May. And has been warmer than normal for 6 days now with one more to go before returning to colder than normal. The warm period didn't balance out the 16 days of cold.
