I live in Duvall so I’m just going off the station closest to me with records but I did not realize how cold that month was! I remember the snow and cold at the end but I don’t remember it getting into the teens in the middle of that month! That’s crazy! Though I don’t know how much different Duvall is from Monroe and if it’s normally a few degrees warmer in Duvall. Duvall and Monroe are pretty similar, though Duvall gets much less influence from the west, which can mean temps go lower. Sky Valley has almost no elevation until you get past Big Bend, so if you're up on the hills of Duvall you're probably higher up than Index.

I have no clue if that’s different than being out in unincorporated duvall like out by the lakes. I know lake Margaret is about 800 feet elevation and can get snow while Duvall gets rain. And there other lakes like lake Marcel and lake joy. Marcel is just under 400 feet and lake joy is like 500 feet. 1 Quote 2024 Warm Season Stats Number of 80+ days - 2 Number of 85+ days - 2 (Warmest so far - 86) Number of 90+ days - 0 Number of 95+ days - 0 Number of 60+ lows -

NWbyNW
Cool night, but the moderating waters of the Puget Sound have it 45F here tonight. Love seeing low 30s towards the foothills and mountain passes! Temps haven't actually gone down much or at all from readings I posted earlier. Stevens Pass is at 30F. I've been watching it the past few hours hoping it would dip to 29F but it has not. Eastern Washington is surprisingly warm tonight with temperatures throughout the Columbia Basin in the mid 40s, though towards the Palouse region, there are temps in the mid to upper 30s. Pretty big variation. 34F in Rosalia compared to 41F in Warden. 32F in Fairfield compared to 43F in Chelan.
