The Saturday system is going to be a west sound of sound deal only and even that is looking like maybe just a little light snow. Looks like mega offshore flow with that one.

Looks like it’s showing maybe 2” overnight here and another 2-4” tomorrow probably focused around sunset. I’d be happy with that. Latest WWA says 2-5” which seems like a solid forecast.

Perfect timing to get a little bit of clearing!  Just gorgeous out there with the fresh snow, a crescent moon, and some light fog.  Looks like a really bright planet as well.  Currently 31.8.

PSA for people that use Radarscope:

Go through and long press everything. Long pressing the play button lets you drag through frames, which is is INSANELY helpful.

Long pressing the product button lets you easily switch between reflectivities, tilts, etc. 

Long pressing radar names gives you station updates, like when it goes back up. 

Long pressing the map expands it to a fullscreen view. 

There's more, but you can just try it out and see. My life will never be the same after I found these tonight.

Yep depending on the offshore flow these set ups can be crazy for here. The trend has been to dry this system out though.

Day 5 Massive PV over the Canadian prairies trying hard to shift southwest toward us. Ridge support is decent at this point, but unfortunately won't hold to deliver arctic air. Closer though!
