Low -20.2 with high of 6.1 December 2013 was the 4th coolest Dec in this area (at least since 1948).But the initial arctic blast early month was slightly warmer than the 1972 blast. Nothing out of this world, but still seasonably cold! While I love snow, I'll definitely take the clear, cold days with highs in the 30's. So long as there is a transition event of course.
