Bellingham is at 21 degrees.  Last December the outflow bottomed out at 19. It is already 19 just north of Bellingham.

Bellingham had its first single digit low since 1990 last December. Be really cool to get two winters in a row with one!!!

Convergence  Zone couldn’t be much more perfectly placed here so far. Have a little over half an inch now.

PSCZ hung up just to the north. Hopefully it sags south!

There might be a c-zone up by Everett... but right now it sort of looks like just a blob of moisture covering a wide area to the east and south of Seattle.

It definitely looks like it's trying to fill in though!

I was expecting a clear line with the c-zone coming down from the north at this point... but instead precip exploded out here coming from the SW.    Not anything like a traditional c-zone but its snowing pretty hard here.

MS will be doing a livestream this evening, looking forward to that! He mentioned that there is the possibility of someone getting hammered with a lot of snow somewhere north of Seattle. I’m going to translate that to extreme northern Snohomish Co being that area! 😀

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

33F here now. Just on the southern periphery of the cold sector.

It's note over for you. This thing could pull further south at the last minute.

Down here we are probably not in the running for that Tuesday event anymore. Of course it could come in 100 miles further south and give PDX a good event but it isn't probable.

I do think PDX has a genuine shot at getting some snow going into the Thursday event though before the changeover to sleet and finally ZR. The cold air will be in place and the east wind will be raging. We do much better here with those setups anyway and this is how we get our best winter events down here.

I’m almost in the danger zone now. Like I said, I might not end up with any snow at all this week the way things are going.
Great.

3 inches isn't bad... better than what it shows for the Seattle area.

This is ECMWF snow from right now through 4 p.m. tomorrow... this excludes the snow that has already fallen.     That bullseye east of the Olympics is still there.

Wow just got home. ZERO snow here. Not even anything coming down even though there’s echoes over me. Right when I passed the Highway 9 exit on Highway 2 the snow just vanished. That was so depressing. Maybe north Everett wasn’t the best spot to move. Been burned twice in a row 😂

That blue spot at the entrance to Howe Sound needs to move just a smidgen to the southeast!
