Still pretty teeny stuff here.

 

It turned back to tiny pretty quickly here. Barely anything falling now. Weird 5-10 minute burst of heavy snow with ridiculously large flakes.

Right now what we are seeing is the appetizer. The main course will be tonight after 7pm and will go on until close to midnight. Maybe even longer if the deformation band stalls.

Have not had time to review all posts... but it appears that the ECMWF grossly overstated snowfall amounts for the Portland area below 1,000 feet?

Staley's jn at 200 ft in the coast range has switched to all snow now. Was pouring rain there earlier.

Looks like that's the band that's hitting Kelso right now. Should be over Washington County in the next hour.

Probable an abs wheel sensor code. If on these trucks the rear wheels spin faster than front It will turn on a engine or abs light. Next most common thing would be a oxygen sensor. 6 liter gas right? And the remote start is disabled when there is any engine light on.

That is great to know about the remote start disable when the check engine light is on! At least that should be okay then, it’s the 5.3 liter gas half ton Z71. When I was carefully removing 20lb blocks of frozen slush there was one large piece dangling on the thin wires just off the o2 sensor so i wonder if that might be the culprit...or like you say the abs sensor. Should I see if I can get the codes read and if it is the abs if I just clear the codes would that possibly take care of it? Thanks!

Took a virtual trip with one of the katu drivers over the I-205 bridge and it was moderate snow and just now turning the highway white.

He is now heading out on 84 east.
