MR.SNOWMIZER
Looks like I picked up another half inch or so overnight, bringing my total from yesterday’s system to 1.5”. Accumulations of a few inches or more look to be widespread from the Puget Sound area to the south Willamette Valley this morning. Nice to see! Snowed more here at work in Port Orchard than at home. 2.5 new here. 1 Quote We come from the land of the ice and snow.

wx_statman
Not local to us here, but the ridge along the East coast is insane. 595dm heights over N. Carolina yesterday. Stu Ostro at the weather channel tweeted out that 595dm heights had never been verified over MHX (Morehead City, NC) before June, prior to yesterday. Some ridiculous record highs for February yesterday, like 77 in Wells, Maine. Previous monthly record for entire state had been 69. First 80 in February for the state of Massachusetts. Also 77 in New Hampshire broke the state record by 4 degrees for the month. Also a hell of an anchor for our longwave trough. Perfect setup for continued cold here, and we've been reaping the rewards.
SilverFallsAndrew
I was thinking about Phil last night. Found it interesting he went MIA.
