It has taken a lot of wet snowflakes, but the roads are finally covered here.

 

What is your elevation?

 

I have about 2 inches on non road surfaces but maybe just .25-.50 inches on the street. Temps are super borderline. I can see the snow on the road getting a bit slushy as the snowfall rate eases.

 

Temps around me are reading 32.3-32.5.

 

Need that convective band offshore to hit us to really get this moving.

I mean, he's coming back from Hawaii, the driest part, we're in a cold and snowy stretch finally, and he's telling us about how he's happy that it'll be drier and warmer.

I still wouldn't consider this a region wide EVENT... I mean, max snow depth in Whatcom and northern Skagit county are at best half inch... I feel lucky here with 1/4" on all paves surfaces.

I still wouldn't consider this a region wide EVENT... I mean, max snow depth in Whatcom and northern Skagit county are at best half inch... I feel lucky here with 1/4" on all paves surfaces.

EUG's high of 37 today beat only by 1894's 36.

 

Looking up stats as a respite from staring at the porch light to see if it's started snowing yet (it hasn't).

 

Edit:  I was looking at Astoria.  D'oh!  EUG had a high of 32 on 2-21-57.

Northern skagit has literally seen less than 1/2" combined this whole winter...

They definitely had the better of the chances in the OT overall, until that last chance for Canada on the PP. Crazy good game.

Looks like that's it for Victoria. Ended up with around 4", which more than doubles the season total. Now it's cooling down quickly behind it. This is the best looking Fraser outflow we've had since early last February and this one will make it further south.
