GHweatherChris
They are playing very well after some early season struggles. If they end up playing WSU in the Pac-12 title game I expect they will beat them pretty easily.I disagree, but that is the fun in being a fan, right? The Cougs are playing on another level right now. Plus, the Cougs have beaten Utah already once this year so....

Phil
As an avid baseball fan and player myself, I can tell you that the psychological component of the game cannot be understated. If you have great team chemistry and can keep your emotions in check/filter out the noise, it goes a long way. Just one millimeter on the bat and/or your swing plane can make the difference between a home run and a lazy fly ball. So can 1/500th of a second in the timing of your swing release. Players crumble when they get lost inside their own heads and over-prognosticate. It’s happened to me on many occasions. You either change your mentality and learn from it, or you don’t. Chewbacca Defense
Had a soaker of a soccer game tonight. We play pretty much every week from February through mid-November, and we've been lucky this year, all but one of our games up until week have been dry. And the other wet game was nothing compared to tonight. Big fat raindrops fell during most of the first half, it stopped for about 10 minutes, then it started again with the wind kicking up from the north, with the big fat raindrops showing up for the last 10-15 minutes. The precip started up about 5pm, and I have .61 in the rain gauge at this point. We usually have a windstorm every year, but have come up blank for 2018. We have 3 more chances before winding down for the holidays. TT-SEA
SEA is now over 3 inches for October and above normal for the month... surprising given that it was such a shockingly dry month. This will be a wet October in the history books. SilverFallsAndrew
Probably... but they know if they win the next 3 games then they are in the PAC-12 championship game. They don't need to worry about anything else or need help. You never know. I would have thought Oregon, UW, and Colorado would have won by 2-3 touchdowns today. This will be a wet October in the history books. Just hit the 3" mark on the month here. I am sure we will end up with more rain this month than SEA, but probably a bit below normal for the month.
