Maybe I’m weird but I’ve always liked the early sunsets. The long evenings can be cozy. On the flip side I’ve always enjoyed the super late sunsets on the opposite side of the year too. I enjoy dynamism when it comes to daylight length throughout the year. To me it would be strange living at a lower latitude where daylight length and sun angle are more uniform year round. I realize this is just personal preference though.
Is there a global population collapse on the horizon?
Greece is experiencing lower birth rates. But no one should be surprised considering high costs and weak economic outlooks of some nations. Enlarging one’s family would be considered an act of courage.

I was just gonna say, I flipped on TWC and he was saying there were Zero fatalities in Elkhorn, NE. It is amazing to hear that wonderful news after seeing that devastation. Can you imagine being in a basement and your house blown off the foundation? God Speed to all of those who were effected.
The images of Elkhorn, Nebraska are jaw dropping. Everything just torn apart as if a bull dozer driver through the neighborhoods.
I don’t know how people get through something like this.
More big storms to open the month day 3 targeting eastern Nebraska and western Iowa again, hopefully not as bad as the past 2 days. Maybe those who missed out or didn't get as much rain as they wanted with the current system can score with this one.
