For some reason I feel skeptical still. I can’t remember a single time I’ve been on the outside looking in on a storm right on the eve of the event only for it to switch dramatically in my favor. Pretty incredible.

A possible reason the NAM suite to shift so far S may be current temps being MUCH cooler than NWS grids thinks. OTW is currently 18F and supposed to be 25F. Many other places in IA are way to cool to forecasted grids. The NAM would have been the first to see this injested in guidance. (minus the HRRR and RAP FWIW)
