I agree.  Euro currently has the greatest snow totals, and is usually right with temperatures--so I would go with that solution, but I believe that the euro may even be underplaying it.

12z Euro is shaping up to be a solidly cold run. Lots of mountain snow for sure, down to relatively low elevations. I don’t think our chances in the lowlands are over yet either.

I would bet money there will be another round of snow and cold for a few days before the pattern changes.

We come from the land of the ice and snow.

Sounds boring. How do Seattle’s numbers look?

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

NWS Seattle mentioned possibly reintroducing snow into the forecast for next Tuesday/Wednesday...but it was a copy/paste from overnight.

That's been my thought as well. This feels like one of those times when western Washington as a whole is warming up, but everywhere north of Smith Road stays in the freezer. Seems to happen fairly regularly in mid- to late-February. Perfect timing with a long weekend coming up.

Mattias just pointed out that there is a narrow, but heavy band of snow shown for tonight-tomorrow morning in Bellingham. I haven't looked at other models much, but I don't think it has any support

Who's Mattias? Weird to see my name spelled the same way, especially on a localized weather forum lol.

Looks like it is still snowing in Grants Pass. Looking at cams there was just a dusting there this morning, but areas just outside of town had several inches. The town proper had more snow last week.

Also Pendleton and Hermiston have seen temps now drop below freezing at both locations with NE winds. Pendleton was 40 at 1am, and is now 30 with snow falling.

Yes please. Hope you are happy with all the recent snow. Redemption for Bellingham

Was just giving you a hard time. Our weather here in Glenhaven (just north of the whatcom/skagit county line) was a bit different than Bellingham, but overall it was a very nice event. Had a foot on the ground at our peak, which was comprised from a couple different events. Can't complain, and did what I could to make the best of it

Interesting layer of warm air aloft right now, being reported by aircraft observations.

(Fields are: time observed, time received, altitude in feet, latitude, longitude, temperature in degrees celsius, wind speed in knots, radio frequency, aircraft tail number.)
