Kayla
Not a lot going on here lately, just pleasant spring weather with highs in the 50's and 60's and occasional showers. Even had some some snow flurries yesterday morning. Still getting chilly at night though with a low of 29 this morning. Vegetation is still really behind schedule with still nothing leafing out. So the start of our vegetable garden remains on hold for now. Should see a bit more in the shower activity this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon into the night with even a bit of snow. Kayla
1-2" of snow is looking more likely tonight into tomorrow morning here. Somewhat chilly again these next couple of days with highs near 50 and lows in the mid 20's. Looks like we'll see a nice warm-up this weekend with highs reaching the lower 70's. Only one 70 degree day on the year so far this year back on April 19th so some 70+ degree temps is welcome news and will hopefully finally jump start the vegetation here. Kayla
Had some thunder and heavy downpours today. It hasn't really rained much since the end of April so todays nice soaking was quite refreshing. The warmth over the past few days has finally jump started the vegetation here with things finally starting to leaf out now. First real chance at some severe storms here tomorrow afternoon. It looks to also kick off a pretty rainy/stormy period over the next 7-10 days with maybe even some overnight snow at times. Kayla
This looks like a typical forecast in the middle of winter here... have I mentioned that I could never make it in Bozeman? Yeah, high of only 39F here yesterday which was a new record low, high for the date. The temps themselves haven't been that bad but the raging east winds that we've been having for the last 4 days is pretty brutal. Wind chills have been hanging around in the 20's. We're definitely stuck in a cold ULL rut over the next 10-14 days. Tis the season. Warm season doesn't really begin until July here.
