Like all those ECMWF runs showing the Central Puget Sound region getting around 2' total from multiple storms last February. Unfortunately, unlike those, these are (so far) momentary blips instead of elements in an overall consensus.

Past 2 runs. Ridge flatter over us than 18z. Overall not the best run-to-run consistency in my opinion. Aleutian ridge/block more 'upright' and stronger.

Sea of Okhotsk vortex stronger, more consolidated may kick out more energy leaning on the block keeping the tilt more favorable.

I’m a little annoyed with the way this year has gone, weather-wise. PDX has seemed to have a recurring problem of just missing out on various events. Windstorm back in January, snowstorms in February, AR in December, windstorms last December, bomb cyclone....seems its always the matter of too far north or too far south.

 

So....I’m itching for a bullseye. C’mon gods of weather, bury the entire region in snow. Leave no city uncovered. That’s what we all want, right? How many people do we need to start sacrificing?
