The last few mild overnight/early mornings have been wonderful!!

It was a very unique pattern that delivered the warm lows. Wish this was more common here west of the Cascades. I like it because when you wake up early to go out on the water, no need to wait for things to warm up.

15 degree drop in dew point at PDX in the last two hours. Kinda weird...

I actually did the same thing when I first read that...Temp and DP have dropped quite a bit here was 71 with a DP of 55 at 1pm now it’s 63 with a DP of 44 as of a couple minutes ago. Breezy as well.

I'll never understand why the NWS continually overstates rain chances. Time and again the immediate forecast will call categorically for rain, and nothing happens. Case in point: latest point forecast for this afternoon says "Showers. Chance of rain 80%" and yet there is nothing on radar literally within a hundred miles of here.

 

Yeah it's mostly clear here and been dry all day.

Dew points in the 40s won’t get it done, not enough instability.

71/55 today...only 0.01” so far today but looks like we will get some here shortly. Kinda lame that the storms didn’t pan out today but we had a pretty decent storm up this way only a few days anyways. There will be more chances for storms this year.
