April 2024 Weather in the PNW

Recommended Posts

Ended up with a 54/42 spread here. Frequent morning showers then a ton of afternoon sunbreaks with showers widely scattered.

Ended up with a little over .20” for precip. Just about 1/4” to go to hit 2” on the month. We’ll see how tomorrow goes.

GFS is slowly coming around for later this week, but still a pretty big split between the operational and the ensemble for a day or two there.

Writing seems to be on the wall. I'm pulling a Tim and going east of the Cascades this weekend.

Your Billy Graham/Tony Robbins schtick needs to stop.  Also, who the phuck cares that you met someone from DC that hurt his knee, gimme a phucking break, was his name Tim as well.  Your dooshbaggeryness is out of control and you somehow are still allowed to post on here.  A lot of comments from you lately are just blatant a$$hole statements and gloating about being a bully, were you bullied in high school or were the one being bullied, its tough to figure out, someone your age acting like this on a weather forum is straight up psychotic and uncomfortable to see.

I always like the John Day fossil beds area this time of year. Did a really nice camping trip over that way in May of 2005 which opened my EYES to that area as a young lad, Andrew.

I just do what others do to play along.   Andrew gets it with the God stuff... obviously since he does it like 20 times a day.   Don't give a flying crap whether you get it or not but won't be changing.

Ur preferences are wrong.

I don't think a single normal person would disagree with my stated preference, its more so that our situations are different. In my opinion, nothing beats a nice 90 degree camping with family, hiking in the morning, swimming and boating in the beautiful blue lakes and green forests in the afternoon, BBQing in the evening, and having a roaring fire under the stars at night. Much better than a slushy inch of snow if you ask me...

And besides, I've already seen PLENTY of snow this winter. Have had tons of days skiing, 92" here this season, and not to mention that I'm about to spend 2-3 weeks at Denali in nonstop cold and deep snow, there will not be a moment that I'm not surrounded by snow. I think I've had my fill of backyard snow for the year...

All this celebration for abnormally crappy weather feels like May 2022 all over again.    Also a rapidly evolving Nina that year.    Feels like a nasty offset might be ahead.   Personally I would prefer climo weather.   But we don't have a choice.   I didn't like spring 2022 and sure didn't like late summer and fall 2022.   I might be saying I told you so by July.    And I won't be happy about the heat and smoke either.

My thoughts as well.
