Interesting because sometimes we get those winds first. Like in Feb 2021 when we shot up to 48F before midnight and the airport was about 36F for a good 45 mins or so before they switched to SSW. Must depend on the setup. I’m guessing in that case the terrain helped break up the inversion earlier out there. Warm nosing. EUG tends to hold onto northerlies down the valley a little longer during cold offshore flow episodes in the winter. What I’m trying to say is the station is trash and should be condemned.
