33 at SPB and 32 at HIO. Definitely could see some accumulations out there in the next few hours.

36 with a wet mix here at the moment.

Do you mind me asking where SPB and HIO are?

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

There is something magical and joyful about watching the snow fall while listening to Christmas Music. The Christmas tree and all its lights shining in all their glory. The Christmas lights on the house standing out against the snowy background. It's wondrous and it's what Winter is all about. This is great.

Merry Christmas. Happy New Year. Thank you, El Nino.

Solid Mix rain and snow down here at 150' elevation near Bellingham. My Mother in Law lives in Kendall, which is about 30 minutes East of Bellingham and they have 5" since this morning. Elevation out there is just under 500'. She's been sending me videos and pictures. . . Had I not been working today we'd have driven out there.

Must be some sort of mixing going on. More of a rain/snow mix now even though it is down to 32.8.

Same thing that happened here about 30 minutes ago.

Yeah, I am curious if anyone knows exactly where the warming is taking place. It is just cold rain at this point at my house,

I think it is the flow turning onshore at the mid levels.

The weather just can't decide what to do with itself today. I've been going back and forth from snow to rain and back over and over again. Not just due to precip rates either. Earlier I had 36F and all snow, now I'm 34F and a rain/snow mix.

I think we've pretty much hit our peak heating now so it should be all cooler from now on, the models also showed the upper levels cooling and we have precip well into the evening now. Sounds like we might actually get accumulations here in the next few hours.

Now just plain old rain currently at the lake house now. No idea what the temp is since there is no thermometer here. Hopefully the airmass will cool once again soon.

A solid 2" here and still dumping at 32º. Pretty impressed with this much snowfall already. Photos taken about 30 minutes ago.

Precip briefly switched back to snow, but now it is pretty much done here.

East of I-205? Houses look pretty suburbanish to me. Very impressive if it's snowing that far east in PDX metro.

A friend just posted this picture back home from Bainbridge Island at around 200 feet.
