Just drove home from school. Streets are a skating rink. Heavy freezing drizzle falling. Yuck.

There are accidents all over the place. Just had a very scary drive back from lunch, almost got smoked by a car coming down the highway that spun out and went over the median. Gunna be a rough go around here if this keeps up.

Hearing reports of completely covered roads and law enforcement in the area telling people to stay home. I live in town 1 mile from school and saw many cars sliding and spinning

Topeka NWS has issued their favorite, oh-so-predictable, 1-3 inch snowfall forecast for Saturday along with a winter weather advisory.

 

I guess the Earth would need to set up orbit along side of Jupiter to get anything more.

you might get more than we do since you have the deformation band in your favor, up here guidance still differs greatly.

Nice band sat overhead for a bit. Currently 3" down since this morning. Flakes aren't nearly as fat as forecasted at this point but it's pouring.

Snowing pretty good in Pewaukee, WI. Looks like we have over 3 inches already.
