My cousins/Aunt/Uncle lived in Everett at the time. They said that there were hundreds of people walking on Green Lake. Some jackass with an ATV was wreaking havoc and annoying people until he finally broke through the ice and lost it. He survived but his ATV did not.

That was the most insane GFS run maybe ever. Reloads of arctic air temps in the single digits Christmas Morning with snow. It's safe to say the Drunk Uncle kidnapped the 00z tonight, and I thank him for it. It's fun to see cold, snowy maps.

I just told my parents to prepare for a life changing (planet changing) winter. My 68 year old mother is taking apart their shed in the dark right now to prepare it as fire wood (possible flash freeze scenario in week 2?). Mark sadly seems to be behind the science on this one. (Tonga)
