Seems unlikely we'd see 4-6 days at or above 100 degreez in early September.Yeah, the GFS really had nowhere to go but down assuming we aren't going to see something completely unprecedented. This is mentioned in the "extreme wind warning" just issued. Flight level winds are over 150mph now. Harvey is trying to achieve cat4 status just before landfall. There was a ton of strengthening in the just the last few hours and can now see a well defined massive eye wall.
