Liking the latest developments. Top of my hill probably isn't big enough in this resolution, but seeing the 3" amounts across the way over in Lynnwood and Edmonds is encouraging. Just need the CZ to sag down by the county line for a time. 

 

I think they are going to be buried over in Port Angeles and Sequim.

Clown range was fun though.  These days even the ensembles have been off.  Clown range had a big snowstorm New Years Eve for a lot of people

 

And at least it was consistent with 12Z and EPS.

Good to know.  I think his point was that at some point the cold would end.  I am wondering if a pattern like that came with a lot of cold air in place, if it could lead to some big snows for the west side.  I couldn't tell these were warm pineapple storms or just storms from the west running into the cold air.

Not really.  Lots of boring, southerly flow here and temps in the 40s-low 50s.
