Deweydog
Low of 64 at PDX. Pretty much zero chance they stay in the 60s today.Yeah, that low was a *****. More importantly, the circulation is making it tougher to keep a solid stratus deck. MossMan
12z GFS has the ULL a little closer to the coast and is a bit cooler. Meanwhile, the CMC kinda washes it out and never really moves it over the PNW. Still cools things down for the weekend, though. That’s too bad. Snow! Seems plausible that an early fall is on the way for the Northern Rockies followed by a drier than normal winter with the ENSO state and -NAO. Fall will hit us first in mid September after we torch hard early on. 97 on 9/11 at PDX. October will feature 20+ days of rain and no clear nights, other than a random east wind night with an unnaturally warm low in the late-month period. November will either blowtorch with light rain the entire way through or feature our coldest airmass of the season at an inopportune time. Likely some combination of both. December will be reliably cool and dull. Probably our only (light) snow of the season late in the month as we get our annual cool spell shortly before New Year's. January will suck. Hard. Coldest low of the month on the 2nd before weeks of mild rain take over. MLK Day will be 55/45 at PDX. This is the 2010s PNW climate model. I hope you enjoyed.
