06zs weren’t bad, cooler than the operational and definitely seemed to prolong the cold in the mid to long range.

It was still a bit better than the 06Z, and ensembles are still fine. Plus GFS is one of the only models showing this.

6z GEFS when looking at The Dalles and Moses Lake ensembles also showed modest potential for backdoor cold through the 11th.

Really bad shadow for Puget sound on some of the models. 

Definitely, specifically from about Lakewood up to Marysville and west, been noticing that on several runs now.

There will almost certainly be a period of a shadow for central Puget Sound as the low is on the W side of the Olympics but I think we have a good shot on the N side of the low once it moves to the Columbia, assuming a track like the ICON shows is correct.

 

I'm not 100% certain when I say this but don't models usually underestimate the amount of precip on the N side of low? I vaugely remember that being talked about before in situations like this.

They are one of the best repair shops around.   They will not charge for fixing small issues and they never try to sell you things that you don't need.    We had an issue with one tire on a AWD and every place we went said they had to replace all 4 tires (they were almost new) for well over $1,000.    Les Schwab ended up fixing the problem tire and did not charge us a penny.

 

They have earned my loyalty.

Les Schwab is fine, but you pay for their employees great pay and benefits. I have found small family owned shops here in Salem that may not be as fancy, but give me the same quality for half the price. I drive a lot so I need a new set of tires every 12-18 months, as well brake maintenance, the whole nine yards. I save thousands by staying with local small businesses that don't waste money on multi-million dollar advertising campaigns.

That is the name of the game. Shop's around mine wonder why i have 40 cars to work on and they have 5. I don't pull any bs on my customers and people trust us. I don't even advertise all my business is word of mouth. Been here 30 years this year!
