Deweydog
Fair point, yeah seems the cold and the moisture never line up exactly as we need, too many ways for these things to screw up. I'm always skeptical of these BC slider low snow setups, seems we never end up with quite enough precip, have a southerly breeze until the low ends up passing to the south, etc. Too many moving parts. Nothing like an overrunning event with a juicy low out of the south and a frigid Columbia basin.Gotta appreciate them when they come. The Sunday night event last February wasn’t a blockbuster but it was pretty exceptional for us. An actually windshift line with focused precip. January 2007 kinda qualified too but I thought that was more happenstance than something actually frontal. 1 My preferences can beat up your preferences’ dad. Guest hawkstwelve
Well that last band dropped about 1.5 inches here and looked to pickup intensity as it went north so I bet a lot of places are at least fully coated now.
