Black Hole
Yesterday barely cracked 60F and my low was 40F this morning. Chilly!Today its a pleasant 68F under sunny skies, can't beat that. Kayla
First green glow cloud deck of the season passed right over Bozeman this afternoon. Kayla
Strong cold front set to move in here as well tomorrow afternoon dropping highs into the the 50's on Thursday and Friday. Record low max is a ridiculous 43F on Friday so we're not getting anywhere close to that. Front Ranger
Another well below normal day here. Had a high of 70, average is around 82-83. A couple brief showers for a total of .12" in the bucket. This month has already managed 11 days with precip but a total of only .68" at my house. Loving the fact that most days have stayed below 80, though. Right now most models point to a big warm up about a week from now, and probably our first 90+ days of the year. If it somehow doesn't happen and we make it through June without a 90 degree day, it will be the first time in over 50 years. Quote A forum for the end of the world. Kayla
Winter Weather Advisory issued here beginning at noon today lasting through noon tomorrow. NWS is going with 2-6" of snowfall. I'd be surprised if I see at least 2" here though. 700mb look to drop to -6C so we're going to need some pretty high precip rates to pull that cold air down to the surface here. Looks like things could turn convective this afternoon so that could help to pull that cold air down. I'll go with T-2" for here. I think it's going to be more of a situation of lots of snow falling but very little sticking. Either way, pretty incredible that we're still talking snow on the longest day of the year.
