September 2019 Weather Discussion for the PNW

Hoping I get frost in the next week. Not looking good now, the high desert seems to have lost its muster. If I get below 50 I’ll be happy now.

Looks like highs 40-45 and lows well down into the 20s Sunday and Monday. Unless you traveled somewhere.

Looks like we ended up hitting 66 today with some late afternoon sunbreaks. Ended up being a pretty afternoon with the sun and collection of low and high clouds moving in. Even spotted a pretty distinct sundog in the Winco parking lot!

Really light sprinkles over on the east side of town. GF says there’s some drizzle in Cottage Grove too. I think we switch over to a continental profile sometime on Sat morning.

Looks like it's predicting some convergence happening over the southern part of the island. Could be a city stopper.

Weird, I've had much better luck with lightning.

Their forecast looks pretty warm for the interior too. They have the coldest day in Kamloops being Sunday. 52/36

To be fair, coldest anomalies with this one will be further south in eastern WA/OR/ID/MT.
