I haven’t been able to access my old account for a couple years, for the record. I think Fred banned it into the Stone Age. Besides that I don’t have any others.

Anyway, probably 95% of my posts these days are weather related. And I ignore multiple attempts by others to stir up sh*t with me on a weekly basis. I’m definitely still not perfect, but I hope most here can see I’ve tried pretty hard to clean up my act for the most part.

Not that I give a shiiit, but you constantly try to subtly try to stir shittt up. Usually with some sneaky little comments you feel the need to throw in your posts or the constant weiners and downvotes you dish out. I've learned to grow a thick skin after being here for almost a decade so it doesn't bother me at all. Just don't pretend you don't stir the pot.

Cool aerial shot they just showed during Seahawks game of T-Mobile Park all set up for NHL Winter Classic tomorrow with Seahawks game happening in the background.

18z is just another step back. Could potentially be low level cold building after next weekend.

Never said I didn’t. Literally said I wasn’t perfect, show me a regular poster here who is. 😂 But I’ve tried pretty hard to improve as well. Eliminate the nasty personal attacks and engaging in pages long preferences battles. It’s all relative I guess. Also, to anyone who actually takes reacts seriously, all I can really do is laugh. And even if you do, I upvote way more comments than the other way around. It’s not even close. At this point it’s more a reputation thing than anything. But I definitely have to own that too.

Hope you have a Happy New Year!

Just to let you know, I don't dislike you at all in any way. I really do appreciate your pics from the forests and hikes in the gorge that you frequently take. I'll also admit that your weather knowledge is greater than mine. It's just that you LOVE drama. That could be improved on going forth as a friendly suggestion.

18z GFS is nothing short of a disaster. At this rate Phil's going to be basking in 30 inches of snow and subzero highs...

A pattern shift to a more favorable move with low snow levels isn't a disaster.  It's still close to really good.

Not really much lowland potential, but the pattern is still worlds better than what we've seen the past month, and would be pretty chilly at the surface. Your west side location would struggle to get out of the mid-30s for days.

I think that's a relatively fair assessment honestly, but I've noticed Jesse has made big strides in some areas. No one is perfect and he can still improve with the drama. I hate drama. I see no reason, no sense, no point to any of it. No antagonizing others, stirring pots, none of it.🤷‍♂️

I would love some critique of myself lol. What do you or others like or dislike that I do, or don't do.... etc, etc....

Does anyone here remember a poster by the name of Richard?

He was really good tracking the cold air apparently.  I couldn't understand most of what he posted, much like what Phil posts.  I'm not really weather smart and it all just sounds like someone who is talking in code.

I bet Richard could tell us if the cold air gets to us in a week or so.

Would be nice to have something to track for a week or so before we move into Spring.

I think that’s a bad take on your part. I’m fairly opinionated, and I have a hard time knowing when to step away when I feel I’m in the right. But it’s never my intention to actually cause problems here.

Appreciate everything else you said though. I have nothing against you personally, either. We just happen to disagree about fog and stuff, but that sort of thing is highly subjective.

I think his name was Richard Mann. I could be wrong though. His posts were a bit cryptic and hard to follow, at least for me. But he was usually on track with his regional forecasts.

For a while we were worried Richard died in the Paradise Fire. But we didn't find his name on the victim list, if that was his real name...

55 years ago snow was turning to freezing rain on the heeling of a 12-15” snowstorm as an airmass for the ages was being escorted out of the region.

A really short lived COOP station was up for just the winter and the previous really close to my current location.

They recorded 13.6" of snow and 0.25" of ice from the 27th to the 31st with temps around 10 degrees for the majority of the snow, with sustained 35mph winds as well. They recorded hourly temp and wind data which is nice

I appreciate that. I like that many post model charts and point out things on a run that I may not have, or others. There are a lot of people here who break things down really well and provide analysis. Phil too! Yeah, why bother stirring the post? We are here all year, well some of us. Some of us like to show up during the Fall and Winter. You see the familiar faces, you build a rapport with others. I know sometimes I've chimed in when there are issues here because I just don't understand why there ever needs to be.

I do like the sarcasm and friendly banter too. Yeah sorry about disappearing. When we are at the precipice of an event or if its just underway it becomes so incredibly hectic, chaotic, and well, FUN in my FB group it's so hard to do both over on the Forum too. I've tried. It can become exhausting. When I do post the 00z runs here just about every evening I'm doing so in both. That I can handle. Making the 10 Day GIFs take a bit more time. To make things easier we switch the group settings to [Snow Mode] so that only Admins can post in the group.

Then we create a number of threads specific to Conditions/Observations, Snow Pics/Videos, Road Reports, etc. If we didn't lol the group page you'd never be able to find any posts. The format on this forum is much better in that regard in my opinion so you can keep track of things a lot better. I hope we have some fun events ahead and we all score some Cold and SNOW! C'MON!!!!
