Perturbed Member
1 hour ago, BLI snowman said: As the map suggests, that storm was brutal for here. Hours and hours of heavy 34 degree rain with some token wet flakes splattered in the middle. Ended up about 10 minutes too far SE for the accumulations. There was a tiny warm tongue aloft that day that rode up over us and kept us from seeing the snow, even as we remained on the cold side of the low. And the Patriots did the whole 3-28 comeback thing to add insult to injury. My current location did get some light accumulation with that but back then I lived further east in WA county and it was just cold rain. I ended up driving west into the coast range and it was a winter wonderland there. As you said, it was ridiculously frustrating how close that rain/snow line was to us and we were just barely on the wrong side of it.

MikeInEverett
Arrived at Whistler today and was greeted with 35 degree rain! Lots of snow on the ground though and still a ton of frozen ponds/lakes/waterfalls. Definitely going to be taking more pics and hopefully I see some snow tonight/tomorrow before it warms up. 9 Quote (Previous name: MillCreekMike) Everett, WA (elev. 180’) 2023-2024 Snowfall: 1/11: Tr. 1/18: Tr.
