For Missouri folks our chance of snow from this system will be from lift ahead of a cold front. The timing of that cold front will determine whether we see some light accumulations or just flurries.

In 2014/15 we had had a top tier inversion in I think January that lasted for I think 10-14 days, resulting in some absolutely beautiful rime in the Snohomish valley and minor icing the day it was pushed out with a drizzle storm. I only remember that because that was the winter we saw no significant snow events.
