I'm debating whether to delete the sub freezing high days on my signature. Subfreezing days are not rare here. We've already had several. I'd guess we probably have somewhere between 5-20 depending on the year. Besides TWL, who appreciates sub freezing highs? Or should I just record days with low temps in single digits or below? What does the forum think? It's ben a rough start to my location for snow compared to the last two years, but I still like following cold.

 

I enjoy them. We haven't had one yet this year. Last one was with the cold snap at the end of February. I really enjoyed that event.

Redmond is up to 1.09" of precip on the day. Amazing

Hard to believe the gfs is being the Dr.No now and not the euro. Usually bodes well though down the road…

Pretty sure we are more than that.  I'm in a weird place half way up the hill where we squeeze precip out in these situations.  Good with an inch though.

I was there in the winter once, late January 2020. No arctic outbreaks, but some nice snow squalls. It was fun.

I definitely attribute some of the lower totals to the hefty ice and sleet mixture during some of the heavier precip-- really made a mess of things. At least an inch of ice accumulated here, I'd say. Some of my totals may also be undercounted, the wind was pretty incessant as well

I’ll be 24 in 3 months so I think 30 is very doable. Just landed a really good job last month too so I’m feeling pretty optimistic about the goal.

That's when EPS warms us up, but I'm thinking that 2nd cold push around then could drift west next few runs. So maybe GFS whiffs the first, but catches that 2nd wave.
