Most recent windstorm we’ve had that actually impressed me in terms of strength was September 2020. It was obviously way worse in Oregon…but it was pretty crazy up here too. East winds were some of the strongest I’ve ever seen here…55-60mph. The smoke rolled in around sunset and the ash started falling. Power is back on here and in North Bend. No idea how they restored it so fast. Mild winter evening for sure... It's milder now too, 45 outside with the wind roaring. Lots of power outages here as well. Felt cold in the afternoon, it was only around 40 degrees with sideways rain.
