The sign of a truly awesome pattern, when the relaxing of the pattern only leads to a brief blip to normal temps and more #snow.. ;)

Quite a difference between here and Michigan. I'm sitting here with bare ground as the little shots of snow have melted/sublimated away, while it's a winter wonderland in Michigan.

It has been sunny here all day until about 20 minutes ago that is when a brief but intense snow show blew thru had about 15 minutes of white out conditions and enought snow to cover the cleaned off sections of driveway and add a new top coat to the ground snow. Now the sun is back out once again. temperature here is 19° with the sun back out.

Sunny and a few passing clouds and frigid. Temps remaining in the teens for highs along w blowing snow. At times it looks like an all out blizzard w those gusty winds.

I basically want everyone northeast of me to get buried right now. The more snow up there, the longer it stays cold and keeps snow here when it gets here.

Looks like our best chance at accumulating snow so far at Lincoln will be Thursday. Between marginal temps and limited precip, it'll probably end up going down as another trace but we'll see.

Yeah I think we end up seeing a mix of rain and snow Thursday with a trace recorded. Also, this is technically a clipper system so I've been posting everything regarding Thursday's "event" in that thread.

Yes, the EPS is showing a much better pattern beyond day 10, similar to the GFS.  Here is the latest EPS city chart for Cedar Rapids.  I love this new feature added by Ryan Maue.

Also, Hitler will be resurrected and America will turn Socialist.

Speaking of Hitler, did you know that Joseph Goebbels (Hitler's Minister of Propaganda) was the first grammar Nazi? :P

meh

Dude seriously, what is going on with you?? I thought it was kinda funny at first, but its getting crazy now. I live in the same town as you, and i throw my share of shade but COME ONNN. Imagine if you saw someone like OKwx doing that, youd probly tell him to stfu or atleasr be annoyed, but he doesnt. So just chill breh. When theres no weather to track, just go fill your time doing something else and youll figure out that it doesnt even matter really.

How bout this, if it does snow more than 6" by february, LNK_WX and i get to make a flesh flute snow-sculpture in your yard. If it doesnt, you can throw dust in my face from the blowing dust advisories.
