jakeinthevalley
We are blocked from the lower horizon by a hill to our West, so we missed out on the brilliant oranges. The rest of the sky was composed of shades of red that I had never seen before. Our entire party literally stopped everything to watch. Someone launched a drone at that time. I wish I knew who it was. Those pics must have been amazing. I probably would have had to pull over too

TT-SEA
One cell taking off east of Buckley. http://climate.cod.edu/data/nexrad/ATX/N0Q/ATX.N0Q.20180706.2031.gif Just missed me to the east and now it has fallen apart and its sunny again. Another cell has really taken off down there... but its a little farther east than the last one so I am doubting that will make it here either. Can't buy a raindrop! Although it did rain enough overnight so that everything was really wet here this morning... its been a long 12-hour dry spell. Phil
You got cold anomaly feet there for a while. Only frontal snowsquall stuck to his guns with his extremecast.I admit I was second-guessing my warm July idea, after that initial round of ridging in late June ended much faster than I was expecting. Thankfully, it was just a big, ugly timing mistake. luvssnow_spokane
Had a pretty heavy rain event for about 30 to 40 minutes earlier in my area. It was quite impressive as it was really dumping!
