Yeah HRRR now places me on the Northern edge of getting any snow at all. Guess I'll just have to hope radar trends disprove HRRR in a good way later.

We have a late start here due to the freezing drizzle last night, but again looks like the snow will miss most of Nebraska.  I won't complain too much as I have had my share up through Dec. 26th, but other parts have had a less than stellar snow season.

This storm is weird.  Major bust potential for many areas for sure.  Now it looks like the heaviest snow will hold off in Eastern Iowa until very late tonight and into the early AM hours tomorrow.  Latest 3K NAM has Cedar Rapids even on the northern edge.

This is so comical omg. Just a couple days ago we were writing this storm off as a miss well to the North and now we might get missed to the South.

With school cancelled, I don't even want to go outside unless its snowing. On Friday evening with the freezing rain I slipped and fell on the same sidewalk twice a few hours apart...and I was sober the first time.

Still think southern wisconsin is the best bet. wouldn't be suprised in the rain/snow line stays sout of I-88 in Chicago area

Snow not to far to the west of me with web cameras looking kind of impressive.  I think the line falls apart right before it gets to my county.  We'll see. Even a dusting is better than nothing with these last to mini busts in our area.

LOT radar flared up out of nowhere in the last hour. Already reports of freezing rain and auto crashes.

12z RGEM actually has the heavy snow band NW of Lincoln. I'm just going to wait and see what happens because models have proved to be useless the past couple of days.
