Perturbed Member
Wish we could trust the euro for the overruning event shown on Wednesday but I get the feeling it is about to get spanked by the GFS yet again. Nothing agrees with the track of the low on the euro except the NAVGEM. Maybe the UKMET does too but haven't checked that one.

Phil
Big shift in the PNA forecast, looks to go positive by mid month now!Jet extension! But that won’t necessarily equate to ridging, or at least not for an extended period of time (even if it registers as a +PNA..IE: Aleutian/NPAC/GOA troughing, etc). It almost wish the PNA/AO/NAO index values were not updated in real time, haha. Everyone spouts off about them and what they supposedly mean for sensible weather without even trying to understand them mathematically. 1 Quote Live Weather Cam: https://www.youtube.com/live/KxlIo8-KVpc?si=xKLCFYWbZieAfyh6 PWS Wunderground https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KMDBETHE62 PWS CWOP/NOAA: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=F3819&hours=

wx_statman
Here's an interesting statistical anomaly, and shows the back-loaded nature of this winter: At Pendleton, 1989 and 2019 are the only years on record (since the 1890's) that didn't see sub-25 maximums until February....and then saw them in both February and March.
