I wouldn’t say we were metal per se. Pretty diverse, or probably more like erratic. One of the songs we’re recording is almost straight up rock/pop tune our lead guitarist wrote in high school. The singer and I make fun of it merciless to this day but it’s fun AF to play.

For some reason I imagine something like Faith No More.

Angel Dust is one of the most underrated albums of the 90s.

They were a big influence for me. AIC and Soundgarden were my biggest overall I’d say when it comes to my formative years. Matt Cameron is one of the best mood drummers of all time and was all about the song. Stuart Copeland was also a biggie for me but some of his polyrhythmic stuff was way above my pay grade.

I am one of the biggest weenies on here... and this is a true weenie post.

It'll give me a chance to tend to the lawn and yard then I feel like it'll go back to cooler and average precip from there. Then a warm but not overly hot summer, but still very dry from Jun-Oct.

See you think I’m related to him or agree with him on everything. I don’t, I agree that it is probably worrying about something we don’t need to yet. I’m cool with some warm days so long as our next cool stretch isn’t November.

The fat, sprawling 500mb ridge over the west pattern is just ugly to me. I prefer a little more room for variability at 500mb. If that makes me a weenie then so be it. Obviously everyone here has patterns they don’t like.

That said, the last few Euro runs looked pretty different, so we will see this shift around a lot before the models settle on something. That’s always to be expected at this range.

Made it down to 34 this morning. 50/34 for the day so far.

38.8 F this morning. One of these days is going to be my last sub-40 degree morning before fall. Possibly tomorrow, otherwise early next week before the warm spell will be the last one. Definitely done with frost now.

😂 I did like that post. Definitely agree that 7-10 days of warmth is ok, 70-100 straight? No thanks

Everything is packed… Sounds like a place I would avoid… As I head to Chicago in a few days. 🤦‍♂️

I get it.

Here is my ugly pattern... this just annoys  me unless it's in December and snowing.  This crap in the spring brings out my inner weenie.

Charleston is still the only place I've ever set foot in the Atlantic Ocean at. Was a crazy trip. Tulsa, St. Louis, Louisville, Knoxville, Asheville, Charleston, Savannah, Tallahassee, Mobile, Biloxi, Shreveport, Dallas, and then back to Tulsa.

It has big trough over the East Coast too.

Doesn't matter here.   It was 80 degrees today and didn't see a single cloud all day.
