Pretty remarkable recovery considering where the month started off. I wish all a great day as we all try not to eat too much.With yesterdays wind blown rain Grand Rapids is now up to 47.28” rain melted snow for the year and that is good for 3rd place. Second and first place are not that far off. In 2nd place is 1986 with 47.28” and in 1st place is 2008 with 48.80” While yesterday peak wind gust here at Grand Rapids was 55 MPH the storm it self was much less intense than the November 10/11 storm of 1998 when GR had over 10 hours of wind over 35 MPH with many guest in the 55 to 65 MPH range. At this time with a mean of 34.6° November 2019 is now tied with last year for the 10th coldest November of record here at Grand Rapids. They have the cold one day, but tend to lose it in a day or 2. There is no cold air in sight, so that's spells "No Snow" all of next week.
