Anti Marine Layer
Brrrr. Sprrrrrrrrrringgggg. Sorry, had to get a handle on myself. We should all just move to Redding or something. I heard it's so hot there that the coronavirus just evaporates.Just reminds me of the seasonal lag which is quite impressive along the California coast. We've had Mays here colder than Decembers and so far every weekend here has been having a trough while we've had the warm weather while I was trapped in the office. I may be a spoiled Californian and a wimp, but it's really weird to be switching to summer time in middle of winter, while in November it's usually sunny with 90 degree offshore flow days and it's pitch black at 5:30.

snow_wizard
So...maybe I wasn't so crazy after all! The EPS is fully on board for second round of cold early next week after the impressive cold shot on Friday and this weekend. With the late week event we are only talking about fine details making a huge difference in snow potential and just how cold it will get. It certainly appears we will have a run of clear / cold nights with very dry chilly air in place. A feat that has been extremely rare after March 10 for over 100 years. Can't wait to see what kind of numbers we put up. Meanwhile it's below freezing here now. 1 Quote Death To Warm Anomalies!
