I am actually enjoying a cold beer in the warm sun here. It's amazing how warm 50 degrees and sunny with no wind feels in March.

And I am making noise with my electric leaf blower... but my neighbor is burning dead trees today from their construction so they can't complain.

 

Now that is a peeve of mine especially when people don’t know how to properly burn and let it smolder for days at a time.

Some seriously low humidity shown on 18z. Day 9 has a 00z temp of 51°F here with a DP of 10°F. That’s 18% RH.

 

Looks like a pretty fun albeit very dry run.

Speaking of which, they’re doing a series of controlled burns down on the Fauquier/Stafford county line and it destroyed our air quality today. The smell was overwhelming.

 

Why the f**k they’d attempt this during a subsidence inversion is beyond me.
