Phil
Pretty sobering. 27D5BA0F-113B-4E93-A54F-B4A4F521E54C.pngHopefully the precipitation over next week will help that to some extent? After that my inclination it that it would transition into a more wavy/meridional pattern with cutoff ULLs and transient ridges in between, followed by a more sustained GOA ridge and cool continental troughing later on with the MC MJO bifurcating and poleward -AAM transport cycle culminating with renewed equatorial deposition of E’rly momentum restarting. Not sure cutoff ULLs impact rainfall locally, but maybe the most consistent rainfall with respect to climatology will have occurred by May 5th, even if the coldest temperatures relative to climo occur later? Hard pressed to envision any sustained, warmer than average conditions developing until the third week of May, at earliest. I’m sure there’ll be a warm spike somewhere in that late May - early June window, but it doesn’t look to be long lasting given the boundary conditions this year. 2 Quote Live Weather Cam: https://www.youtube.com/live/KxlIo8-KVpc?si=xKLCFYWbZieAfyh6 PWS Wunderground https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KMDBETHE62 PWS CWOP/NOAA: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=F3819&hours=
