Looks like the first shower of this cold onshore flow setup is on my doorstep.  Trying to decide if I should stay up and check you splats mixed into the rain.

A few things: The cowboy hats were given to the student section at the game formerly known as the Civil War in 2022 (the game where we came back from 31-10 from only running the ball), and has been seen as a symbol of I was there. They were (and still are) going for $100+ afterwards. That was my last game as a student (I got a 1 year extention on student tickets though due to COVID). It is a symbol of pride for most of us that kept it.

I looked focused/stressed during that shot due to something in the game. What actually is going on is I got my cheer banner jammed and was trying to unjam it (happened mid shot). 

I took the under in the cfb reddit game predictions thread.

Hit some heavy snow going over tiger mountain this morning. Rain/snow mix at 900’ here in snoqualmie but mostly rain. 38 degrees in Tacoma.

I woke up at 2:30 and checked the Tiger Mountain cam and there was new snow on the ground there already at that time but it doesn't look like its changed since.   I thought it was just about to start snowing here 3 hours ago but that didn't happen.   Looks like light rain out there now.

It was snowing pretty hard when I went over at 445….but pretty quickly changed to rain once I started dropping down the other side.

Had a dusting of snow when I woke up 2 hrs ago. Nothing falling right now. Snow looks like a good bet here ltr today when the showers roll in. 35 degrees.

Yeah, I wasn’t expecting anything since the models didn’t like the idea of valley snow this morning. It seems like the southerly wind still hasn’t completely died as well. Still 40 degrees.

The next 2-3 nights probably offer a much better chance at flakes.

35 degrees and some reports of snow in south Whatcom County.  Got 0.90" rain yesterday, and .15" so far today.

It does, rates have slowed quite a bit, so I doubt we see significantly more accumulation this morning. The overnight periods the next few days look promising for many.

Looks like Sedro Woolley is the big winner! The only school delay. Though I heard people driving through slush down at our main road when I had the dogs outside. I bet the higher elevation behind my house is doing well, will need to run up there on the way to work and see! Keeps bouncing from all snow to a mix currently here.

The cold front just went through Medford! They dropped from 50 to 40 degrees. I’m always rooting for that area!
