Definitely rainier further south. Just checked the gauge and standing at 0.30" for the day. It’s been steady light rain since daybreak, though.

Well, not yet anyway. 

I think for a lot of kids it's good to limit screen time, because if you give them all the access they want they can become addicted and end up spending a ridiculous amount of time on technology a day.  Average Gen z spends over 7 hours a day just on their phone, if they continue doing that for the rest of their life, they will have wasted 20 YEARS of their life just on technology, it's pretty terrible when you think about it.

Ducks were up 4 with less than a minute left and had the ball. Ducks choked but Creighton was clutch. Ducks had a good run even making the NCAA tournament by winning the PAC-12 tournament title.

Oregon snow pack in pretty good shape. Willamette Basin is about normal, the south Cascades are 115% of normal, and SE Oregon doing really well. Might be time to start thinking about some fishing down that way after a couple good water years now.

Ultimately one of the reasons I decided not to chase this eclipse is the fact it's one of the cloudier times of year in those parts. I'll be in Santa Fe, NM that day.

Maybe it ended for you, but I've still got some winter left. I'd hardly consider a low of 17 here today, and some potential snow in the coming weeks "smoke season".

If you're going to be all the way in NM, and the forecast is clear, why not make it the extra several hundred miles to see the eclipse?

Who really knows how visible it will be, we're setting up a potentially more active severe wx season this year in some areas.
