Back to civilization now after a successful 12 day climb of North America's tallest peak, Denali, home of some of the most extreme weather on the planet, with my 4 great friends Roger, Matt, Scott, and Aaron. For the first half of the climb we were very lucky with the weather and only needed 9 days to get enough good weather days to acclimatize and summit on the evening of the 20th. After we reached the summit we got about 20 minutes of clear sky -28 degree weather with light wind until a cloud
Yeah... no. We had a great weekend. But if you want to defend Alex Jones here then I will let you have it too! Wouldn't be a tantrum though. I can just see you seething through your computer/phone screen while I am smiling back at you.
And we truly are grains of sands. Life is so short and fleeting.
May and the first half of June in 2010 was pretty stressful. New baby so I was definitely sleep deprived. And it rained for 30 days straight. But April-June of 2022 made 2010 look like child's play. You helped in 2022 by saying it would be a 1999 type summer so my expectations were set very low!
