jakerepp
Looks like I should've joined the nightshift. We had too many things going on to keep us from sleeping. Still waiting on word about my car. Hyundai corporate is having someone run tests on my engine after reviewing documentation. Does anyone have a particularly good experience with any dealer from Puyallup to Burlington? I have no clue how strong it was, but there was some absurd sounding gust of wind at some point in the middle of the night. I'm sure it was no more than 50mph, but it just kept building and building and I could hear things banging around on the back patio. Man alive! Phil
The 2nd half of Dec window is still open, fwiw. Even if not epic or marginal, it could be Jim’s “warning shot” given how things seem to be shaping up for 2nd half of Jan. Wave train will be mature by mid-Jan, and constructive interference from low/medium pass over Indo-Pacific dynamically favors stout GOA ridging, unlike the early December period under similar tropical forcing. Throw in wQBO @ 50mb and battered strat vortex, and the odds are suddenly quite high after a 7-10 day stretch of mediocrity to open new year. Comditions could turn in a hurry mid-Jan. 3 1 Quote Live Weather Cam: https://www.youtube.com/live/KxlIo8-KVpc?si=xKLCFYWbZieAfyh6 PWS Wunderground https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KMDBETHE62 PWS CWOP/NOAA: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=F3819&hours=

FroYoBro
Awesome to see the GFS stick with the more entertaining solution this morning. Both the 12z and 06z have the low just barely going south of the Seattle area. Very close call and obviously small changes in that trajectory could change things in a big way at the surface.
