Three lows all ride the arctic air boundary, and when it gets pushed up slightly north a weak low breaks through the boundary? Doesn't look likely at all to me. I have seen small amounts of snow evaporate when its 15 degrees... it called melting at 36. Now if only it would clear out for a weekend of skiing around the lowlands. Nope, ice and 33-degree rain. Hoping for more of the latter and less of the former. Still, as it turns out the models handled this one pretty well although for the second time they didn't handle the deformation precip all that well. Most all of it has come in the last 2 hours. Very light snow. Hopefully heavier tomorrow before the dreaded south wind breaks through!
