But a good common denominator. 2800V4500ft is "high" for a VIS of 1/4 mile- but each airport that has RVR is different. Lowest RVR I've ever seen is 600FT at DSM in 1/16 VIS FG. Lowest at DSM in +SN has been 1000FT. And RVR is not as variable as VIS when you factor in nigh vs daytime VIS-- ( you can see further at night) but RVR holds the same for whatever technical reason.
