The first round of larger swells is currently timed to move in tonight.

Your name is Frontal Snowsquall...not Frontal Hurricanesquall...don’t wear yourself out before winter, we need full force Frontal Snowsquall!

Heatsquall during the summer, hurricanesquall during the Fall, snowsquall during the winter, tornadosquall during the spring.

Euro precip maps anyone?

Total precip through Monday morning... its basically dry after that time.   It will be nice to have some dry weather again while everything is turning lush green.

At the 50k Silver Dollar bar right now in Montana. Thunderstorms are trying to pop up. Felt and looked like fall as soon as we got into Bozeman.

Should be in Everett tonight.

Last stop before the pass.  Never stopped there, we usually stop in St. Regis.  I'm getting all to familiar with that route now that my son is attending college in Bozeman.  2 trips this summer and planning another in November (weather permitting)

Took this picture about an hour ago after a brief shower followed by some sun... steam coming off the road when its a sultry 62 degrees out there!

Looks like this is not a phenomenon reserved only for the swamp lands of DC.    ;)

Why are humans so stupid?

Nothing like a little clorox for the gene pool.  The real tragedy though is if there are any kids among the 200 that are too young to make their own decision/get themselves off the island

Looks like the 12z EURO has Florence scraping Cape Fear before the slow jog down the Carolina coastline.

Awful awful awful track. That would pile a crap ton water into the area between Wrightsville Beach and Bald Head Island.

Aunt Flo is looking a little ragged.

Looks like there’s a pseudo PV streamer to her southwest throwing just enough shear/dry air into the picture to inhibit strengthening. Could keep intensity in check for the next 12hrs or so (hopefully for longer than currently modeled).

The ECMWF keeps the dry air around until ~ 09z if I’m reading it correctly.

That other website is having some server issues, so here’s another live camera website.

Will be nice to dry out a bit... feels like we went from August to November in one day.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Looks like there could be some areas of enhanced shower activity associated with the trough axis moving onshore today.

Looks like some pretty healthy showers cruising around right now.

This one has sound and it’s 34 miles off the coast, and between 75-100ft off the water. Doubt it survives, but it’s a cool one.
