Hoodoo by Santiam Pass picked up 10" of snow overnight.

Picked up .35” since the rain started yesterday afternoon nice to see areas to the south doing so well

60/32 day yesterday with a pretty sharp system moving in around 2-3pm  some cool clouds out ahead of it

46 and cloudy currently after a low of 41

We are at almost 1.5" since yesterday afternoon. Over 5" of rain on the month now, which is a little above average.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see some model variability. This time of year with the seasonal transition and NH PV breaking down is always tough for model accuracy.

This is extrodinary to happen during their wettest months of the year. The only other time they go that long without precip would be July-Aug.

We are really overdue for some decent storms, and I hope the pattern for the remainder of the season is different from what we have experienced from the beginning of January to now! I just feel that something is going to give, since this dry streak has been so long!

According to the forecast, it was supposed to rain here today.  It's been sunny and partly sunny all day.  How are they so bad at predicting rain?  Lol.

.03 precipitation…not a bad day but a bit dull with the clouds.  Walked the Brewery Park Trail in Olympia for a break on my drive home.   I think McMenamins should renovate the old Olympia beer brewery.  Would be nice to enjoy a beer along side the river.  Scary building currently but could be so cool!!!

The latest drought map as of March 8th. Overall the map looks better than it did at the start of the wet season but considering it’s a La Niña you’d think it be a lot better than it is. This pattern coming up will really help though.
