Today's 75 degrees has really helped jumpstart things along.

Super volcano?    All out nuclear war would have the same effect but be quicker with death.    If billions of deaths and destruction of ecosystem is your goal... nuclear war is your best bet and humans are actually in complete control of making that happen.

63F.  Thick overcast all day, but cool breeze.  Feels much cooler than 63.  Not muggy.  Says it's raining on radar. it is not raining here.  Long range forecast shows for some more rain and sun near the end.

A supervolcanic eruption would be a marvel to witness and while it would cease all progress with modern civilization for decades, it would almost be a kind of priviledge to be alive during it. They are so rare, the vast majority of all life does not live to see one.

Though in a very real way I do not wish to ever see one in my lifetime. And the good news is that I almost certainly never will

I will definitely watch this... but my understanding is that a wave of blast furnace heat circled the globe within a few hours.   You might have a couple hours to enjoy experiencing it before being burned to death.

67/49 today…67 DP of 60 currently. Has rained all day but hasn’t been measurable just slightly wet ground at times.

Best dynamics are west of OLY where DP’s are in the low 60s. Central sound temps are in the upper 60s but DP’s mid-upper 50s. Still might get it done.

Lift so far is centered to the west. We’ll see if it expands over the metro area.
